Tech Data Mobile appoints Henchoz

Distribution giant Tech Data has appointed Michelle Henchoz as director of marketing for the UK and Ireland at Tech Data Mobile, the company’s specialist mobile division. Henchoz has more than 18 years’ experience working in senior sales and marketing roles with a number of mobile companies including Sony Ericsson, LG Europe, Bosch Telecom and Vodafone. GfK to deliver market insight at DISTREE Russia & CIS

Research giant GfK is an official Event Partner at next week’s DISTREE Russia & CIS channel event in St. Petersburg, Russia. The three-day event gathers 600-plus senior vendor, distributor, retailer and reseller executives involved in the regional ICT and consumer electronics (CE) channel. During the event GfK will deliver a keynote speech, run an interactive workshop session and also host a breakfast briefing. MICS to meet top channel partners

Russian distributor MICS plans to pre-schedule 50 meetings with top technology retailers and resellers during next week’s DISTREE Russia & CIS event in St. Petersburg. Russian distribution giant Merlion has added new brands to its extensive product portfolio. Merlion has struck a deal to sell packaged products from Russian security solutions vendor Dr. Web.
