VAD outfit Zycko has been appointed as a UK distributor for datacentre virtualisation solutions supplier Xsigo Systems. The two companies claim that Xsigo’s enterprise technology is an ‘essential’ in new build datacentres. Zycko will make Xsigo’s solutions available to its UK reseller base.

Lenovo teams with Alghanim for Kuwait launch
Lenovo has teamed up with Kuwait partner Alghanim to launch its latest Idea PC range in the country. During the launch event, the vendor met with top resellers and executives from the Kuwaiti IT channel to discuss the current market conditions and Lenovo’s future in-country plans. The overall Kuwaiti IT market is worth US$761m per year according to research from Business Monitor International.

Networking vendor Netgear has appointed Fujisoft Technology as a value-added partner in the UAE. The move forms part of the vendor’s efforts to build sales in the local SMB market.
