Opzoon signs AB as distributor

by Stuart Wilson, Friday 21 August 2015

IT and cloud computing solution provider Opzoon Technology has signed AB Group as a distribution partner. AB is one of the largest IT distributors in Central and Eastern Europe.

Under the terms of the agreement, AB will distribute Opzoon’s channel and OEM solutions portfolio.

Chris Cho, Opzoon VP of global sales, said: “Opzoon is very pleased to cooperate with AB S.A. with our rich product lines. Combining our IT expertise with AB’s superior channel coverage, we’re garnering a tremendous business momentum to provide our customers with advanced and reliable solutions and services.”

Opzoon is active in cloud computing, network switches, security alliance, and virtualization, but is also an innovator in converged infrastructure solutions.

Opzoon hopes that its vast array of solutions can achieve further reach in Central and Eastern European markets through the AB deal.

AB will hold exclusive distribution rights to Opzoon’s enterprise and data centre Ethernet switches and will also distribute Opzoon’s security solutions along with converged infrastructure - a pre-configured and optimised bundle of computing, storage, network, virtualisation, and unified management platform technology.

Jarosław Słowiński, purchasing director at AB, said: “We are very pleased to start up distribution of Opzoon Technology. Solutions that will now appear in the offer of AB are part of the sustainable development strategy of our enterprise business group in our company. We are convinced that the dominant position of AB group in the IT distribution market in Central and Eastern Europe and the experience and know-how of Opzoon will enable both to deliver the best and most reliable services and products to our partners.”

Opzoon Technology, founded in 2009 and headquartered in Beijing, China, is a cloud computing solution provider that emphasises technology innovations with up to 85% of its employees working on research and development and technical fields.
