Falcon flies Far East sourcing flag

Falcon Vision will showcase its innovative service offering to attendees at DISTREE XXL, the EMEA region’s premier event for the IT and consumer electronics distribution channel. Falcon Vision provides sourcing, quality control and factory audit solutions in Asia. The model allows customers from outside the region to utilize a strong portfolio of local support services and source quality products from the Asian market.

Andrea Zünd, managing director at Falcon Vision, said: “We are focused on consumer electronics, luggage such as computer and camera bags and promotional items. Falcon Vision offers solutions from product design right through to fulfillment direct to client hubs or even end customers. Falcon Vision is a European style company with staff speaking five languages right at the centre of Chinese factories and with the understanding of Chinese culture.”

Falcon Vision will use DISTREE XXL to generate new customers in regions it is not yet present in. The company will also aim for greater international exposure for its service offerings.

“Our strength is sourcing and quality control since we know what it means to deliver an excellent service and quality approved products,” added Zünd. “Falcon Vision’s vast supplier network in China is a guarantee of high quality products at a reasonable price. We are also able to produce products in lower quantities – our emphasis is always quality before quantity.”

Falcon’s main target market at DISTREE XXL will be distributors looking to create or develop their own OEM product range.

”Our focus for 2008 was mainly the promotional and gift market in the Middle East as well as in Central Europe including Switzerland, Germany and Italy. Our target for 2009 is to become an important OEM and ODM supplier in computer accessories and luggage as well,” she added.

Falcon Vision recorded strong growth in the gifts segment in the Middle East in 2008. According to the company, distributors in Europe tended to purchase lower volumes albeit on a more frequent basis.

“Distributors should understand that we’re an open minded partner that reacts quickly to their demands. Our passion is to find the right solutions and right products for them. Ideally, we propose products that are bought by various distributors in EMEA so that they can profit from lower purchase prices,” she concluded.

DISTREE XXL creates a new, unrivalled opportunity for channel leaders across EMEA to meet and do business with existing and prospective vendors. The event takes place in Monaco from February 9th-12th 2009.
