Softcat signs up Neverfail

by Stuart Wilson, Wednesday 11 February 2009

Softcat, a UK-based provider of software licensing, hardware, security and related IT services, has boosted its portfolio with the addition of Neverfail’s solutions. Neverfail offers a range of continuous availability and disaster recovery software solutions.

“The partnership between Softcat and Neverfail reflects our commitment to offer customers the best IT solutions and services possible. Downtime of anything from email to websites can have a significant impact on a company’s performance.” said Martin Hellawell, managing director at Softcat.

“Neverfail’s cost effective technology and proven software solutions together with Softcat’s extensive experience and expertise will enable customers to maintain continuous availability for their Windows based applications, despite any planned or unplanned outages in the corporate IT infrastructure,” he added.

Neverfail’s continuous availability solutions protect a range of critical applications - including RIM BlackBerry and Microsoft Exchange, SharePoint, SQL and clustering - and provide end-to-end availability protection for a company’s entire e-mail, SQL and wireless application environment.

“As the reliance on IT applications continues to soar, Neverfail looks forward to working with Softcat to deliver to their customers the industry’s most advanced platform for continuous availability and disaster recovery” said Mark Lewis, VP EMEA sales at Neverfail, “We are pleased to have Softcat selling our products, and welcome their expertise and reputation in the marketplace.”

Softcat works on behalf of, and in partnership with, IT departments to deliver individual IT solutions. By delivering added value service to all areas of IT management, Softcat aims to create a partnership, enabling customers to rely on its service and its ability to deliver the right solution at competitive prices.
