Preserv8 signs Cloudmore as distributor

Preserv8 has made a significant move into the Western European market, signing up Cloudmore as a distribution partner. Preserv8 offers a unified messaging platform and software plus services offering. Cloudmore, formerly known as Smarthost, operates as a pan-European tier one distributor of cloud services.

Cloudmore is an established cloud service distributor providing a portfolio of services delivered over the internet to a large number of VARs, system integrators and telecom operators who market, sell and support the services under their own name and brand.

Cloudmore reckons that it can offer Preserv8 a quick route to market as a first tier distribution partner, transferring the value of the solution and support to its network, allowing resellers and channel partners to do likewise for their clients.

“Cloudmore is constantly looking for potential cloud-based services with a large demand from our partner channel. The Preserv8 service meets all our expectations in terms of performance, functionality, delivery model and customer demand," said Michael Wicander, CEO at Cloudmore.

Deon Robertson, CEO at Preserv8, said: "The offering has international appeal. We have monitored the steady increase in interest and investment in South Africa, where we first launched the solution and service offering. The structure and design of the solution and our back-end systems, together with the partner portal, ensures that our client base can be supported from anywhere in the world, and that our channel partners have access to proactive technical and client service management infrastructure."

Wicander added: “Our partner channel is experiencing a rapidly growing customer demand for e-mail security, availability, business intelligence and compliance solutions. Preserv8 enables our partners to go to market offering an integrated, market leading service, satisfying these demands and hereby creating a healthy revenue stream and strengthened customer loyalty."

"The cloud service market in Europe and the US is rapidly maturing and we have seen exceptional growth over the last year within our channel, boosting over 15 % month on month. The market is still in the early phases and researchers, such as IDC, estimate that the revenue will triple over the coming three years. Northern Europe and the US are currently more advanced, but over the coming years we will see a great adoption for cloud services globally," explained Wicander.
