Specialist SaaS vendor targeting small businesses offers up to 40% margin and ongoing revenues; provides complete migration & support service
5 May 2009 – Gooroo Software, the SME software as a service (SaaS) vendor, is launching its online business management suite and actively seeking resellers to help it grow quickly in the small business sector.
Gooroo Software’s online business management suite makes it easy for companies to run their operations in the cloud via a web browser, with no software to install or maintain. Gooroo says reseller margins start at 28% and rise to 40%, with recurring revenues as customers simply pay a monthly fee per user, with no extra hardware or support costs.
The Gooroo suite integrates key business functions such as accounts, sales, stock control, customer, supplier, task and people management into a single browser-based dashboard view, giving users secure access to their business data at any time, on any web-enabled device, anywhere.
Dean Miles, general manager of Gooroo Software said: “Our business suite has strong appeal to smaller companies because it lets them focus on building their business, without the hassle of buying and managing software. It’s a tremendous opportunity for resellers to deliver added value to customers, and benefit from substantial margins, as well as offer a differentiated product in the market.
“We recently surveyed small businesses’ plans to adopt SaaS and cloud solutions, and there is real demand out there. SMEs want the same tools and benefits that are available to enterprises, without the drain on costs and time.”
In Gooroo’s March 2009 survey of directors and senior managers in small businesses across the UK, 40% of respondents said they had already changed their plans to buy or update business software because of the economic climate, and 21% planned to postpone spending on software until the situation improves.
When asked if they would replace their current business software with a solution costing around £30 per month per user, with no extra hardware or software costs, 46% said a definite yes and 18% said they very likely to. 18% said maybe, and just 18% saying it was unlikely or a definite no.
As well as strong margins, Gooroo also provides resellers with data migration tools and gives free support for end-users, making it easy and seamless to get customers up and running with the solution. The company also offers online sales help and marketing support for partners, to help them drive sales. There are no additional costs for maintenance or other extras.
