SIT Distribution opens HTC service centre

SIT Distribution has opened an HTC service centre in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia. Mobility specialist SIT is the exclusive distribution partner for HTC within the GCC and Levant region. The new facility, which the two companies refer to as a ‘care centre’ aims to provide a rapid and high quality after-sales service to customers.

“It is a natural step for SIT Distribution to open the HTC Care Centre,” said Adnan Al-Falah, chairman at SIT Distribution. “We are working towards making the centre customer centric.”

The new facility will provide HTC’s Saudi customers with a range of services including updates on new and existing HTC products, fast and efficient warranty repairs, software updates and advice on internet and e-mail settings plus recommendations on operator data packages based on customer requirements.

”At HTC, we give the same level of importance to after-sales service as we give to product innovation and technology,” said Vishnu Vardhan, executive director at HTC MENA.

”The opening of the HTC Care centre reaffirms our commitment to provide the highest level of service to our patrons, ensuring that they fully benefit from the performance and cutting-edge technology of HTC devices,” Vardhan added.

Al-Falah added: “HTC customers can be assured they will receive the best service and advice at the HTC Care Centre. The centre will feature an experience zone, giving customers the opportunity to view and have a hands-on experience on new devices and technologies. In addition, customers will be also able to purchase HTC accessories from the centre.”

HTC is a Gold Sponsor of Digital Consumer Channel (DCC) MEA 2009. ICT and CE-focused retailers and vendors from across the Middle East will gather this week at the fifth annual Digital Consumer Channel (DCC) Middle East & Africa (MEA) event, which takes place from May 19th to 21st 2009.

The region’s premier event for the consumer electronics (CE), communications and ICT retail channel continues to go from strength to strength, offering a compelling mix of one-on-one meetings, conference sessions, awards and networking opportunities for retailers, distributors and vendors.

Retailers will have the opportunity to review the latest products from the 50-plus vendors set to attend this year’s event.
