Q1 Labs has struck a distribution deal with IT security and internet solutions VAD Computerlinks. Under the terms of the agreement, Computerlinks is authorised to sell Q1 Labs QRadar family of network security management hardware and software solutions to its reseller partners in Germany, Austria, and Switzerland.
Q1 Labs has also named Wolfgang Huber as the company’s regional manager for Central and Eastern Europe, a new position. In this role, Huber will be responsible for managing sales initiatives, original equipment manufacturer (OEM) relationships, and channel partners in this region. He will report to Matthew Nunney, Q1 Labs’ EMEA director.
"We are happy to be partnering with Q1 Labs, as we believe the company’s proven and highly differentiated SIEM and log management solutions are exactly what our reseller partners and customers are seeking when it comes to solving their security, risk management, and compliance problems,” said Richard Hellmeier, CTO at Computerlinks.
Q1 Labs claims to provide flexible product offerings that allow customers and partners to satisfy their unique security and compliance requirements and regulatory mandates, in both physical and virtual environments. With the company’s QRadar family, organisations can centralise several network security management functions from various operational silos into a single, cohesive SIEM framework, according to the vendor.
