HP TSG teams up with Ejada

by Stuart Wilson, Tuesday 21 July 2009

HP technology services group (TSG) has appointed Ejada as its channel partner to oversee its software and solutions business in Saudi Arabia. The move comes after HP’s recent announcement of an ambitious certification and enablement programme for software partners across the Middle East market.

Ejada is a leading IT services and solutions provider in the MENA region supporting large scale IT projects in banking and finance, oil and gas, telecommunication and government sectors.

Ejada will support HP in expanding its newly launched software solutions portfolio, which covers end-to-end enterprise management solutions from strategy, operations to application and automation. In addition to Saudi Arabia, there are plans to extend the partnership to cover markets such as UAE, Bahrain and Jordan.

“Ejada’s range and reach of service in the regional market has been acknowledged by our customers across all industry sectors. Our ISM division has more than 75 consultants who are trained in all areas of infrastructure services and as HP’s channel partner overseeing its software and solutions portfolio, we are confident that our network and team strength will benefit HP and offer them a competitive edge in the market,” said Ashraf Osman, executive director ISM division at Ejada.

“Our aim is to help HP’s current customers benefit from having us as HP software implementation partner. We also see this as an opportunity for prospective customers to realise the significant benefits of implementing HP solutions,” Osman added.

Hassan Alzahrani, software manager at HP Saudi, said: “HP software and solutions leads the business technology optimisation markets and our goal is to collaborate with local partners and support our customers to accelerate their business outcomes. By partnering with industry leaders we aim to help our customers optimise every dollar invested in IT and every resource allocated to the needs of the business.”
