May the Salesforce be with you

eSolutions Force, which is part of the MDS Group, has struck a Middle East partnership with CRM player Salesforce.com. eSolutions reckons that it will become one of the first companies in the region capable of delivering end-to-end solutions in this sector. eSolutions also claims that the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) market in the Middle East will be worth US$112m in full year 2008.

The deal will see eSolutions provide sales, marketing, implementation, training, coaching and support services for Salesforce.com’s CRM applications. Globally, Salesforce.com has more than 38,000 companies in its customer base comprising more than one million users of its CRM products.

A recent IDC study claimed that the CRM on demand market in the Middle East and North Africa region was worth an estimated US$52 million and was experiencing a remarkable 47% growth rate year-on-year, driven by increased investments by the banking, government and retail sectors.

“eSolutions Force is part of the MDS Group, the largest IT Group in the Middle East and Salesforce.com is the market and technology leader in Software-as-a-Service and Platform-as-a-Service, so the synergy for both makes sense.” said Gaby Matar, group managing partner at eSolutions.

“Being on the ground, eSolutions Force will be extremely well positioned to provide the levels of implementation support and service to support to the Salesforce.com solutions range serving our customers by relevantly addressing Middle Eastern business challenges with an integrated solution of CRM sales tools, sales process and sales skills,” added Matar.

Imad Choucair, general manager at eSolutions Force, added: “The Salesforce.com model does not require a large initial investment and a complex hardware set-up, nor does it require people to monitor and maintain it once deployed, its adaptability, its scalability and the fact that it can easily customised to a company or organisation’s needs make it highly attractive and ideal for this region.”

eSolutions Force is the first consulting partner for SalesForce.com in the Middle East. Along with its other activities for Salesforce.com, eSolutions Force will provide sales, management and customer service training with programmes focused on the following competencies: sales management leadership; opportunity, account and territory optimization; new hire, basic and executive selling skills; telesales, tele-prospecting and customer services.
