takeMS targets potential partners at DISTREE XXL

German memory specialist takeMS will return to DISTREE XXL next month to build on the channel expansion successes achieved at last year’s event. Jadranko Jelavic, general director sales at takeMS, said: “DISTREE XXL has proved to be an important event for the distribution business in EMEA. We are able to give the most important distributors in EMEA a closer look at our company and the takeMS brand.”
takeMS offers a range of products including memory modules, flash cards, USB sticks and mass storage devices as well as MP3 and MP4 players, digital picture frames and multimedia stations. The vendor also produces software solutions and accessories such as card readers, USB hubs and DVB-T receivers to help users simplify and organise their PC environment.
takeMS reckons that it has a compelling proposition for distributors and channel partners with an aesthetic product range built with German quality standards. The vendor also claims to offer fast and reliable customers support, excellent product availability, performance and low RMA rates.
“By participating in the DISTREE XXL we wish to improve and strengthen existing partnerships,” added Jelavic. “We are also looking forward to expanding our distributor network and tapping into new markets.”
In terms of geographic focus, the Middle East, Eastern Europe, Russia and North Africa remain high on takeMS’ channel expansion agenda. The company continues to see strong growth potential from the consumer electronics sector. takeMS also prides itself on its carefully constructed channel aimed at providing distributors with sustainable margins.
“We make sure there is no cross border selling between distributor areas,” said Jelavic. “We are able to react flexibly and quickly to current market situations and customer requests.”
During 2009, takeMS improved its position in the markets of Eastern Europe and successfully entered the Middle East. The company – working hand-in-hand with its distributors – has also opened up valuable new retail channels during the last 12 months.
