Networking vendor Netgear has appointed Fujisoft Technology as a value-added partner in the UAE. The move forms part of the vendor’s efforts to build sales in the local SMB market. Netgear has also launched a 2010 value added programme designed to raise the bar for price, performance and support for wireless networking in the SMB sector.

"The SMB market is the most potential-laden segment in the Middle East as far as technology adoption is concerned, this drives us towards helping the region’s small and medium-sized businesses increase their productivity, efficiency, and security by maximising the latest innovations in information technology," said Omar Lutfi Azzawi, SMB channel manager at Netgear.

As a result of the partnership, Fujisoft is now offering a bundle of VoIP solutions. Using its certified and experienced staff in networking, security and storage products, Fujisoft will also focus on Netgear’s corporate product line, providing presales support to SMBs in the region.

"We have been continuously forging strategic partnerships with powerful channel partners to further our reach and boost our presence in the UAE and the rest of the region, and we believe that our recent collaboration with Fujisoft Technology will have significant contribution to our overall growth,” added Azzawi.

Netgear’s 2010 value added programme will focus on VARs capable of offering a full hardware solution for SMBs. The program aims to provide attractive incentives for partners such as sales and technical support and training, customer site visits, special tender prices, live demonstrations and product demonstrations.

"We have a very impressive line-up of clients and our track record with some of the cable and broadband providers, hardware vendors, and software solution providers gives our clients certainty for success and we aim to take Netgear to all our clients," said Albert Raj, director at Fujisoft Technology.

Specialising in end-to-end IT infrastructure solutions, Fujisoft Technology caters to the structured cabling requirement of corporate offices and commercial towers, and delivers IP telephony, call centre, CCTV security, indoor and outdoor wireless solutions, as well as web portal and .net applications.
