DISTREE Brazil & Latin America 2016 confirmed for September 22-23rd in Sao Paulo

DISTREE Events has confirmed that next year’s DISTREE Brazil & Latin America (www.distree-latam.com) will take place on September 22-23rd 2016 in Sao Paulo, Brazil. Taking place for the sixth successive year in 2016, DISTREE Brazil & Latin America will once again give consumer technology brands unprecedented access to senior executives and product buyers from the region’s most influential channel partners through pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings.

Farouk Hemraj, Director and Co-Founder at DISTREE Events, said: “Next year’s DISTREE Brazil & Latin America will build on the success of the 2015 event, which received positive feedback from participating delegates.” Based on this year’s delegate survey, the majority of retailers and distributors who attended DISTREE Brazil & Latin America 2015 also plan to attend the 2016 event.

Channel delegates that attended DISTREE Brazil & Latin America also expected to increase their portfolio and start new partnerships as a result of their participation. Many exhibitors surveyed rated the event as superior to a traditional tradeshow, and plan to participate in DISTREE Brazil & Latin America 2016.

Growth opportunity

Recent research from the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) indicates that Latin American economic growth is recovering during the second half of 2015 and will gain further speed in 2016.

With a population base of just under 600 million, the wider Latin American market represents a significant growth opportunity for both local and international brands of consumer technology products. Identifying, recruiting and maintaining relationships with the most effective channel partners can make or break a brand’s success in the region.
