Fortinet announces 2016 partners of the year

Cybersecurity solutions provider Fortinet has announced the winners of its 2016 partner of the year awards. Fortinet’s awards recognised outstanding cybersecurity sales, customer experience, collaboration, and marketing achievements from the company’s distributors and resellers around the world. Global partner of the year was Santa Monica Networks in Finland, with France’s Orange Cyberdefence named EMEA partner of the year.
Exclusive Network bagged EMEA distribution partner of the year with Saudi Arabia’s Innovative Solutions picking up the enhanced technology partner of the year accolade for EMEA. South Africa’s Business Connexion was Fortinet’s growth partner of the year winner in the EMEA region.
Ken Xie, founder, chairman of the board and CEO at Fortinet, said: "I would like to congratulate this year’s winners for their significant achievements in 2016. These partners demonstrated a commitment to deliver the very best cybersecurity solutions and defend their customers against today’s increasingly advanced threat landscape. This year’s award winners were announced at the Fortinet Accelerate 2017 global partner conference held in Las Vegas. The event gathered together more than 1,300 attendees representing 696 different partner organisations who had travelled from over 90 countries.
New SMB Channels event
SMB Channels Middle East, organised by DISTREE Events, will launch in Dubai in May 2017. The new two-day event will bring together 300 executives from the region’s leading resellers of IT solutions focused on serving small and medium businesses (SMBs). More than 60 vendors and value-added distributors (VADs) are set to showcase their solutions and services in the main exhibition area at SMB Channels Middle East.
