Hammer Phones hits UK market

by Stuart Wilson, Tuesday 25 July 2017

Hammer Phones has launched its range of high-end ruggedised smartphones in the UK, and is now looking to expand its channel reach. Hammer Phones are manufactured by MyPhone, part of the publicly traded TelForce One Group in Poland, which was established in 2001, has revenues exceeding US$100m and trades on the Warsaw Stock Exchange. Hammer Phones are currently distributed by CI Distribution and Varlink in the UK.

One million Hammer Phones were shipped in mainland Europe in 2016. The three phones to be launched in the UK all have IP68 ratings. Hammer Phones are shipping with Android 6.0 Marshmallow, have an excellent battery life and are ideal for heavy duty work environment usage, or extreme sports.

The phones are supplied SIM free, allowing users and companies to source tariffs which best suit them. Dual SIM capability makes the phones a practical work tool, with one SIM for work use and one for personal use. Hammer Phones is working with business development company BDexperts to build its UK presence.

Martin MacNamara at BDexperts said: “We’re thrilled to be bringing Hammer Phones to the UK. They are tried and tested, virtually indestructible, yet have the functionality of a high-end smartphone. Resellers wanting to stock them have the peace of mind that it is a high-end product and giving much higher margins than current ruggedised phones available in the UK.”
