Mconomy to showcase SoSkild and BeHello brands at DISTREE

Mconomy will showcase its own brands at regional consumer tech channel hosted buyer event DISTREE EMEA, which takes place in Monaco from February 6-9th 2018. Reinier Corporaal, managing director at Mconomy Belgium & Luxembourg, said: “We will meet with distributors, retailers and telecom network operators to present our own mobile accessory brands - SoSkild and BeHello - and discuss possible cooperation.”

SoSkild is a brand for the protection of smartphones. The design is based on one of the most powerful structures that can be found in nature and is used in many historical buildings such as the Giza pyramids and the Eiffel Tower: the triangle.

“We would like to show the benefit of having a technology-based product, that can be easily explained to a consumer. The unique zigzag structure of SoSkild provides high impact shock protection,” explained Corporaal. “BeHello is our mainstream brand of mobile accessories, created and based on consumer insights, thus stimulating cross-sell and upsell opportunities."

As devices are lasting longer and the second-hand market is increasing, consumers are more eager to protect their phone to make it last longer and maintain its trade-in value, according to Mconomy.

Corporaal explained: “Mobile devices have become the most important devices in every consumer’s life. It is so important to make sure their phone keeps functioning. Many have no clue how to protect their phone well and still rely a lot on the advice of salespeople.”

Both the BeHello and the SoSkild brand were created after intense consumer research. Alongside a strong brand and product proposition, Mconomy is ready to work closely with partners to drive sell through of the products.

“In our home market - the Benelux region - we act as a value-added distributor offering an ominichannel ‘mobile accessory service solution’ to our customers. Outside of Benelux we work with distributors and help them to sell our own brands: BeHello & SoSkild,” said Corporaal.

Mconomy aims to help partners create more value and profit, while taking care of their accessory business. The company’s channel proposition includes incentive programmes, POS support, planogramming, category management, data analysis, customer software solutions and e-learning.

“Our goal is always to build the business through true partnerships. We aim to create added value for customers and consumers, with long-term goals in mind. With every partner we create a business model that specifically suits their needs and goals,” said Corporaal.
