AOC appoints Prime Technology

Monitor brand AOC has appointed Prime Technology as an authorised distributor for its range of AOC AGON and G-series of gaming monitors in Middle East.

The Middle East gaming market has been growing at a brisk pace, growing 25% in 2017 according to research company Newzoo, making it one of the fastest growing gaming markets in the world.

Sameh Gamal, business development manager Middle East and Africa (MEA) at AOC, said: “The in-depth knowledge of market, understanding of gaming products and region-wide reach with strong channel relationships of Prime Technology became the cornerstone for this partnership, which we believe with will help us maximise AOC brand visibility and increase market share.”

Prime Technology is a leading PC gaming component distributor in the region, representing multiple brands including Corsair, MSI, Inwin, Silverstone, Gskill, Raidmax ,DXRacer, Shuttle and Ozone among others.

Rizwan Noor, product manager at Prime Technology, said: “We are proud to partner with AOC and with their comprehensive product portfolio of gaming monitors we are confident that with our network of committed channel partners, we will play a key role in increasing the presence of the AOC brand in the region”

Sameh added: “We are confident that our most comprehensive and advanced gaming display solutions will benefit channel partners allowing them to access more business opportunities. We intend to bring more value to partners and in line with this, together with Prime, we have introduced a special offer for channel partners by bundling AOC with other premier gaming brands like Corsair.”

Sameh continued: “We are also running various awareness campaigns and sponsoring gaming events to build a push in the market. Recently, we had sponsored BOC (Battle of Cafes) for DOTA2 in UAE and, later this month, we have partnered with a CS GO tournament in Lebanon to gain momentum in the Lebanese market.”
