Nlyte Software Wins Data Centre Facilities Vendor of the Year at DCS Awards 2018

Wednesday 13 June 2018

Nlyte Software, the world’s leading software company focused on the management and optimisation of infrastructure in data centres and colocation facilities has been victorious at the DCS Awards 2018 in the Data Centre Facilities Vendor of the Year category.

Nlyte provides the world’s leading Data Centre Infrastructure Management (DCIM) solution, giving companies unprecedented visibility and control over their data centre performance, energy usage and costs. With Nlyte’s DCIM solution, customers have seen up to a 20 percent reduction in energy use annually, prolonging the life of existing data centres by up to 75 percent, and obtaining a power usage effectiveness (PUE) rating of 2.0 or less.

The DCS awards are designed to reward the product designers, manufacturers, suppliers and providers operating in the data centre arena. The Awards recognise the achievements of the vendors and their business partners alike and this year encompassed a wide range of both facilities and information technology award categories designed to address all of the main areas of the data centre market in Europe.

Heritage After realising that the industry needed to address the increasing complexity of data centres around the globe, Nlyte entered the market in 2004 with the ability to take care of all the internal and external factors impeding the effective and optimal running of facilities. And over the years Nlyte has done just that, being the first to deliver the industry’s benchmark for DCIM, helping organisations around the world manage infrastructure in their own data centres, colocation and managed service facilities.

Not only was Nlyte crowned the Data Centre Facilities Vendor of the Year, it also came runner up in the Data Centre Facilities Automation and Management Product of the Year category with - its latest developments delivering smarter buildings and facilities with sustainable and intelligent energy solutions helping catch the eye of the judges.

Moshe Benjo, Nlyte Software Vice President, Head of Sales, EMEA, said: “It is an honour to be recognised by the DCS Awards for our role in improving and advancing data centre facilities. At Nlyte we have seen an increasing number of companies use our DCIM suite to improve their data centre inefficiencies and better their bottom line.”
