Fast-growing Indian distributor Rashi Peripherals has rolled out a systems integrator (SI) partner scheme to penetrate into emerging tier three and tier four markets and reach out to the last mile of partners. Aimed at updating partners on the latest component products and generating demand, the scheme received an overwhelming response from SI partners, according to Rashi Peripherals.
The scheme spanned Rahsi Peripherals’ entire component portfolio including CPUs, motherboards, RAM, hard drives and graphics cards. Special incentives and rebates were offered to partners for procuring stock within the scheme duration.
Alok Choudhary, group business manager at Rashi Peripherals, said: “The SI partner scheme is one of the value-added services Rashi Peripherals offers to its channel partners and brands. The aim of the scheme is not only to bring small SIs on board but also update them on new additions in our product portfolio and ultimately generate demand for brands. We also leverage the scheme to strengthen our relations with channel partners.”
The SI partner scheme is also a platform to map new partners and start a business conversation with them. The objective of the scheme was not only to sell, but also to create a buzz among SI partners about Rashi Peripherals’ distributed brands.
“The partners’ response to the scheme helps us evaluate our channel programmes and accordingly improve on the shortcomings,” Choudhary added. The SI partner scheme was well received by the SI channel partner community. Vinay Patidar, owner of Indore-based Compu Care System, said: “The scheme was excellent, and I got very good price support from Rashi Peripherals.”
Punit Khatri, owner of SI partner IT World, said: “It was a good scheme and we got good guidance from Rashi’s team on the new additions in the components product portfolio.”
