HORAM eyes international channels

New memory brand HORAM is gearing up to make its mark in the international market for memory products. HORAM will use its participation at DISTREE Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA) 2019 to introduce its brand and meet potential channel partners. DISTREE EMEA’s unique event format and hosted buyer audience make it the perfect platform for new and emerging brands looking to scale their international channels quickly and efficiently.

Doug Lam, sales director at HORAM, said: “We want to show all possible [channel] buyers that we are a new company with a new brand that is able to provide reliable product at competitive prices. We will be showing our mainstream products - microSD, SSD, and DRAM module with HORAM logo - to all possible buyers at DISTREE EMEA 2019.”

HORAM has recently started building its channel business and has already been successful with its flash products. Within EMEA, HORAM is keen to appoint channel partners in Eastern Europe, North Africa and the Middle East. With channel partners from 50-plus countries attending DISTREE EMEA, the event provides a powerful business opportunity to hold pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings with prospective partners.

Lam added: “The price-performance and cost-performance ratio plays a critical role in the memory business. We have strong back-up in terms of factories and research and development capabilities. We will be proud to introduce the HORAM brand to buyers.”

HORAM expects demand for flash products to continue to increase in the next two years. The company plans to introduce a number of initiatives to support partners as it expands its channel within EMEA.

Lam explained: “Initial programmes may include price incentives, exemption of minimum order quantity or price protection if order number hits a pre-discussed forecast.”

“We aim to work with distributors that are ready and willing to promote the HORAM brand,” he added. “HORAM is a new choice for buyers to consider with a better price-performance and cost-performance ratio. We can also guarantee a reliable supply during shortages and provide insights and information on market price trends.”

Channel partners attending DISTREE EMEA 2019 will have the opportunity to request pre-scheduled one-on-one meeting slots with the HORAM team. DISTREE EMEA 2019 takes place from February 19th to 22nd in Monaco.
