Autodesk has named ProMedia as a new value-added reseller (VAR) partner in Qatar. The software vendor hopes that ProMedia will help it penetrate Qatar’s booming construction maket, which is set to be worth US$9billion by 2012, according to recent studies. ProMedia will work at marketing Autodesk solutions within the country’s booming construction sector.
“As we seek a stronger presence in the region, we made a decision to add ProMedia into our pool of resellers. We have confidence in ProMedia’s capability to capitalise on the booming market in Qatar,” said Manish Bhardwaj, field marketing specialist at Autodesk Middle East.
“At present, we are gearing up for a massive penetration drive in this market and we are looking forward to aiding the Qatar Government’s initiatives to enforce the implementation of sustainable design solutions for current and future developments,” Bhardwaj added.
Nidhin Raj, business development manager at ProMedia, said: “From a technology point of view, our focus is to provide state-of-the-art design solutions and innovative technologies, which will meet our customers’ needs, amidst the booming demand for built space and increasing clamour for green technologies implementation.”
“With our fresh approach for the Qatari market and the deployment of a strong team that will provide service, insight, training and support to our Qatar-based customers, we are expecting our partnership with Autodesk to yield favorable results,” Raj concluded.
Autodesk and ProMedia want to highlight the outstanding features of the new Autodesk Revit solutions and AutoCAD 2009 software to both government agencies and private developers.
