Network solutions vendor Brocade has strengthened its EMEA team, making new appointments designed to help the company scale up its operations in the region. Brocade has appointed Manu Bonnassie as regional sales director for Central Europe, the Middle East and Africa.
Bonnassie has already spent four years with Broacde in a number of roles, most recently as regional sales director for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He also served as EMEA strategic business development director during the same period.
In his new role Bonnassie will look to drive partnerships with distribution partners such as OCS in Russia and Westcon in the Middle East. Bonnassie will be responsible for leading one of Brocade’s largest EMEA geographical territories, driving sales revenue, scaling the local organisation and partner expansion across the region.
Brocade has also named Amar Wadjih as regional sales manager for Saudi Arabia. Wadji will spearhead Brocade’s growing presence in the Kingdom and oversee a partner recruitment campaign. Prior to joining Brocade, Wadjih held senior sales leadership roles within CA and Sun during a career spanning more than 25 years.
Alberto Soto, VP EMEA at Brocade, said: “I am delighted to announce that we have added depth and further expertise to our EMEA sales leadership bench. Their considerable, proven experience in IP sales and services will be invaluable in helping us taking the next steps forward to continue building and growing our EMEA business.”
