Ingram Micro adds high-end IBM rights in Germany

Distribution giant Ingram Micro has bolstered its solutions portfolio in Germany, picking up in-country channel rights for IBM’s Power Server and high-end storage products. Avaya survey shows UC confidence

An EMEA channel survey from Avaya has shown renewed optimism for the prospects of a market recovery in 2010. Some 38% of partners questioned indicated that unified communications (UC) would offer them the most opportunities in 2010, with 23% claiming that VoIP would be the hot sector for 2010. WD launches new training website

Hard drive giant WD has launched a newly designed product training site under the name WD Sales College. The website offers the latest product information and training resources, making life easier for partners to sell WD’s products, according to the vendor. Available in English, French, Italian, German and Spanish, the site is primarily targeted at retail sales people on the shop floor and telesales and telemarketing staff at distributors and e-tailers.
