Bloxx signs up Ectacom

Web and e-mail filtering solutions vendor Bloxx has signed up VAD outfit Ectacom as a distribution partner in Germany, Austria and Switzerland. Ectacom, which is based in Hamburg, Munich and Vienna, will look to develop a channel of security resellers for Bloxx and will provide support activities including technical and installation services, sales training and consultancy. Azlan bags Oracle rights

VAD outfit Azlan has been appointed as an official distributor of Oracle systems and software in seven European countries. Azlan, which is part of distribution giant Tech Data, will push Oracle’s full range of software and server and storage systems in Germany, Switzerland, Austria, Sweden, Denmark, Norway and Finland. Arrow ECS adds Austrian NetApp rights

VAD outfit Arrow ECS has extended its distribution agreement with NetApp to cover Austria. Arrow ECS will now sell the complete range of storage and data management solutions from NetApp in the country. Arrow ECS Internet Security has hired storage distribution veteran Gerhard Ulrichshofer to manage its NetApp business. Ulrichshofer and his team will work collaboratively with NetApp to deliver the full suite of storage solutions to resellers. (lire la suite)

Neumeier named MD at Actebis Peacock

Uwe Neumeier has been named managing director of German distribution outfit Actebis Peacock. Neumeier will start his new job on October 1st, replacing Bärbel Schmidt who, after almost six years, is leaving the Actebis board. In his new role, Neumeier will be responsible for Actebis Peacock in Germany and Actebis Computerhandels in Austria. (lire la suite)
