Huawei signs distribution deal with Aurora

Huawei has struck a Nordic distribution deal with Aurora Group, a subsidiary of DistIT AB. The deal covers Huawei’s range of accessories. Xiaozhong Zhao, director of consumer business group (CBG) Nordic EU at Huawei, said: “We are very pleased to announce our corporation with Aurora Group, one of the largest and most recognised distributors of electronics across the Nordics."
“Aurora has decades of expertise in building and bringing premium brands to the Nordic retail market, and is in an ideal positioned to grow our accessory business,” added Zhao.
Bent B. Madsen, COO at Aurora Group, said: “On boarding a strategic cooperation with Huawei, the leading telecommunications manufacturer in the world, is an important milestone in enhancing our position in the Nordic telecom market. Mobile accessories continue to create remarkable growth rates and our customers naturally desire market leading manufacturers like Huawei.”
Effective immediately, the new agreement will enable Aurora Group to bring the fast growing and popular range of Huawei accessories to the Nordic retail market.
