Crowdfunding star Padmate to exhibit at DISTREE EMEA

Audio brand Padmate is participating at DISTREE Europe, Middle East and Africa (EMEA), which takes place in Monaco from February 19th to 22nd.

Padmate continues to break records with its hugely successful crowdfunding campaigns, but also appreciates the importance of building strong international routes-to-market to secure its long term business success.

Attending DISTREE EMEA gives Padmate the opportunity to hold pre-scheduled one-on-one meetings with top distributors, retailers and e-tailers from across the region in on place at one time.

Rickey Xiong, international sales director at Padmate, said: “We launched our first model in March 2018 on Indiegogo with our Pamu 1.0 true wireless stereo (TWS) earbuds. In September, Pamu Scroll launched and raised more than US$3m with more than 60,000 backers, which made us a number one ranking tech campaign in the world. Within three months, we have automatically built up channels in 15 countries. We have been successful because we have products that combine fashion and tech.”

Padmate is now ready to rapidly accelerate its channel reach across the EMEA region, capitalising on huge international interest in its products and driving consumer awareness.

Xiong added: “For different positioned distributors, we have different support structures. Margin is a must-have, plus we will have specific support for some partners that have unique marketing plans. We have our own marketing team who can work together with partners in a number of different areas.”

The Padmate brand has ambitions to further expand its portfolio and bring to market new products. Padmate won the Best Industry Innovation Accelerator 2018 certified by Intel.

“We have a full line of TWS earbuds and unique wireless headphones and advanced smart headphones ready for 2019. All of them are trendy with a fresh design philosophy that differentiates them from boring looking products,” explained Xiong.

Padmate channel partners will have access to a range of benefits related to pricing, MDF, display marketing support, event and support and priority for new products.

“The time is right to expand our channels so more and more people can buy Padmate products fast and enjoy the performance benefits. Design, innovation and reliability are the hallmarks of Padmate products,” said Xiong.

“We hope to cover most of the EMEA channels in 2019. Strategic partners are needed in different countries to fill up every single market opportunity. Once we are partnered together, we look forward to building mutually beneficial relationships,” Xiong concluded.
