The hunt is on across Europe for Raymond Nevitt, the one time components dealer turned supercar-driving playboy fraudster from Manchester, UK. International arrest warrants have been issued for Nevitt, 43, after he was found guilty of defrauding firms - including IBM Global Financing - to the tune of US$6m following an 11-week trial. High-tech homes sell quicker

A sceptic might question the fortuitous timing of a survey from one of the UK’s leading electrical retailers claiming that the latest household technology can help you sell your house quicker and for a lot more cash. However, against a backdrop of an uncertain global economic outlook, depressed consumer confidence and a jittery housing market – in the UK at least – anything that encourages people to splash the cash on high-tech kit is surely good news. Seagate rejigs for greater consumer focus

Hard drive vendor Seagate Technology has formed a new department to focus on growing opportunities in the consumer electronics (CE) sector. Seagate has formed a consumer solutions division, which is comprised of the company’s CE business unit plus the former Seagate branded solutions business, which was dedicated to delivering branded storage solutions under the Seagate and Maxtor brands.
