Tech Data gets strategic with Microsoft in Eastern Europe

Distributor Tech Data has announced a new strategic partnership to accelerate the adoption of the full range of Microsoft software and cloud solutions in Poland, the Czech Republic, Slovakia, Hungary and Romania. The new agreement between Tech Data and Microsoft will focus on Office 365, Azure, and solutions for BI, IoT and Analytics and will include additional investments in Tech Data resources, marketing initiatives and the company’s global cloud transaction platform, StreamOne. Rashi Peripherals aims to maintain 25% CAGR in 2018

SOUQ integrates additional Amazon processes

SOUQ.com, a major e-tailer and marketplace in the Middle East, has integrated some of parent company Amazon’s processes ahead of White Friday, a major online shopping event in the region. SOUQ’s annual White Friday sale is set to take place from Wednesday 22nd November to Saturday 25th November, offering customers across the GCC and Egypt deals to match the lowest prices in the region. Tech Data strikes Vodafone IoT agreement

Distributor Tech Data has announced a pan-European agreement to offer managed Internet of Things (IoT) connectivity services from Vodafone, one of the world’s largest telecommunications companies. Huawei Consumer Business Group (CBG) has opened its first UAE ’experience store’ at Dubai Mall. The store offers consumers a full retail experience, which includes access to Huawei’s latest products and services under one roof.
