Badgy confirmed for DISTREE Middle East

Plastic card printer brand Badgy, part of the Evolis Group, is ready to expand its channel reach into the Middle East in 2017. Badgy will attend DISTREE Middle East, which takes place in Dubai on May 8-10th. The event will give the Badgy team the ability to pre-schedule one-on-one meetings with a range of retailers, resellers, sub-distributors and trading houses capable of taking its products to market in the wider Middle East region. Gearkom to meet top tech retailers at DISTREE Middle East

Leading consumer tech retail distributors are participating at next month’s DISTREE Middle East to showcase their portfolios to hundreds of senior retail channel executives. Dubai-based Gearkom, which has now been operating for six years, will pre-schedule one-on-one meetings with retail and and e-tail executives at the event. CMS Distribution boosts 2016 sales

Storit Limited, the holding company of CMS Distribution, has reported record revenues in 2016 with sales up 82% year-on-year to £325m (US$417m). In April 2016, CMS Distribution acquired Widget. Frank Salmon, founder and CEO of CMS Distribution, said: “The Widget business was integrated into CMS Distribution in August 2016, as part of our ongoing strategy of bringing companies together to leverage strengths and synergies. SDC adds AGON rights in GCC

MMD, the Asia Pacific brand licensing partner of AOC and AGON, has appointed Dubai-based distributor SDC to market the AGON range of gaming monitors and AOC’s premium range of monitors across the GCC. Sameh Gamal, business development manager at AOC in Middle East and Africa, said: “It is our pleasure to partner with SDC. Centrify appoints new EMEA channel director
