ALSO signs partnership with Treolan

Distribution giant ALSO has struck a partnership with Russian distributor Treolan focused on its Platform-as-a-Service (PaaS) offering. The deal will enable Treolan, which is part of LANIT Group, to offer its customers a wide range of services in Russia. LANIT Group sales hit US$2.4 billion in 2017. With this new partnership, the sixth that ALSO has signed since 2015, Treolan’s channel partners will be able to manage the seats of their end-customers and develop, run, and manage applications without the complexity typically involved in maintaining an adequate infrastructure. Exertis adds Cocoon distribution rights

Exertis has struck a distribution agreement with Cocoon for its multi-room, smart home security system that incorporates artificial intelligence and sound detection. ALSO acquires DISS in Slovenia

Distribution giant ALSO has announced today that it has acquired DISS, a leading Slovenian distributor of software and IT equipment from vendors such as HP and HPE, headquartered in Ljubljana. The parties agreed to keep the purchase price confidential. The closing of the transaction, which is expected in the coming months, remains subject to the usual regulatory approval. As part of the transaction, ALSO has also acquired DISS’s two subsidiaries: VAD, a specialised distributor of IT equipment and software produced by DELL EMC, and Marmis, a distributor of IBM’s software for medium-sized and large systems intended for the control of corporate security and business processes. Snom signs Trust Distribution in UK

Snom Technology has announced a partnership with Manchester-based distributor Trust Distribution to deliver Snom IP telephones in the UK. Trust Distribution offers voice and data products, including telephone systems and IP telephones. Trust is a ‘dealer only’ distributor with a dedicated pre and post-sales customer services team. DCC Technology acquires Stampede

DCC, a leading international sales, marketing and support services group, has acquired Stampede, a leader in value-added ProAV distribution with offices in the United States, Canada, Europe, Asia and Australia. The company provides a global network of 20,000 resellers with a range of integrated AV and IT solutions from more than 150 vendor partners.
