TP-Link adds smartphone distributor in Oman

Networking and mobile device vendor TP-Link has appointed Sale International in Oman as a distributor for its Neffos smartphone portfolio. TP-Link claims that the appointment of Sale International will allow it to accelerate its channel development within Oman. Lucas Jiang, general manager, TP-Link Middle East and Africa (MEA), said: “Sale is one of the largest telecoms focused distributors in Oman and the wider Middle East.” Read full story

Romoss targets Western Europe in 2017

Accessories brand Romoss will showcase its expansive product portfolio and reaffirm its channel credentials at this month’s DISTREE EMEA event in Monaco. EET Europarts targets smart home growth

Distributor EET Europarts has announced a plan to focus on the smart home business as part of its growth strategy for the coming years. A new partnership and Nordic distribution agreement with German brand tado°, a vendor of intelligent home climate control solutions, is already in place and more distribution agreements are in the pipeline. Lowe rejoins Check Point

Check Point has appointed Nick Lowe as regional director for Northern Europe. He has rejoined Check Point having previously spent over eight years with the company from 2003 to 2011, latterly as head of Western Europe sales. After leaving Check Point he was VP of Sales and general manager EMEA for workplace virtualisation vendor AppSense for four years, where he was responsible for all go-to-market activities across EMEA and APAC.
