Barracuda teams with CMS for MSP push

Panasonic signs pan-EMEA deal with Nuvias

Panasonic Business has appointed Nuvias as its first pan-EMEA distributor for its range of business IP phone handsets. The initial roll-out will focus on established markets for Nuvias, including the UK, Benelux, Germany and France, along with Southern Europe and the Nordics. Nuvias will act as a high value distributor for the full range of Panasonic IP handsets. This comprises desktop phones, and both single cell and multi-cell DECT solutions, for use within cloud-based UC environments, including BroadSoft. Read full story

ASSMANN confirmed for DISTREE APAC

ASSMANN Group has confirmed that it will exhibit at DISTREE Asia-Pacific (APAC) 2017, which takes place in Singapore from November 8-10th. Tech Data expands Docker rights in Europe

Distribution giant Tech Data’s technology solutions business, formerly a division of Avnet, has extended its distribution agreement with Docker, to deliver their enterprise edition (EE) offering across a wider European footprint. The extended footprint includes Austria, Switzerland, Italy, Spain, and Portugal, as well as the East region countries where it operates, including Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Romania, Slovakia, Turkey, and the Adriatic region. Ingram Micro adds GFI Software rights in MEA

Distributor Ingram Micro has signed a Middle East and Africa (MEA) distribution deal with secutity and communications software provider GFI Software. Building on its existing relationship with GFI Software in Turkey and Australia, this new agreement will allow Ingram Micro to distribute GFI’s complete range of IT solutions to channel partners in 17 additional countries, including Afghanistan, Algeria, Bahrain, Egypt, Iraq, Jordan, Lebanon, Libya, Kuwait, Morocco, Oman, Pakistan, Qatar, Saudi Arabia, Tunisia, UAE and Yemen. Kingston appoints Brightstar in India

Memory products vendor Kingston Technology has appointed Brightstar Telecommunication as a national distributor for its flash business in India. Kingston hopes that the agreement will allow it to reinforce its current footprint in India and expand into new market segments. Bowers & Wilkins sets up Australian subsidiary

UK-based audio brand Bowers & Wilkins is entering the Australian market. The company has set up a dedicated Australian subsidiary to start marketing and distributing its products from the start of August. Lars Hundborg, Bowers & Wilkins CEO for Asia Pacific, said: “Australia is a key strategic market for Bowers & Wilkins and so we determined that the best way to service the Australian consumer and support our existing dealers would be to establish direct operations in the country.” Read full story
