C2C appoints EMEA sales boss

E-mail data management solutions player C2C has appointed Andrew Brown as sales manager for the EMEA region with immediate effect. Brown previously held the position of senior account manager for the UK. Brown, will now attempt to repeat his UK success on a wider scale and drive C2C’s growth throughout the EMEA region and expand the companies channels to market. Read full story

Bullish Brother predicts sales surge

Brother Gulf reckons it can achieve 25% compound annual sales growth in the Midddle East for the next five years. The company, which boasts a portfolio of printing, communication and digital imaging poducts for homes, offices and enterprises, talked up its long-term growth potential at a dinner with its channel partners that also commemorated the 100th anniversary of the Brother Group. Bell Micro bags Big Blue accolade

Value-added distributor Bell Micro has been named as IBM’s leading solution delivery integrator (SDI) worldwide, achieving the highest level of utilisation for IBM’s System p family of servers for AIX, UNIX and Linux operating system environments. Bell Micro achieved 97% utilisation on the SDI programme – the highest percentage of 14 SDI partners spanning Europe, Asia and the Americas. Read full story

eSolutions Force, which is part of the MDS Group, has struck a Middle East partnership with CRM player Salesforce.com. eSolutions reckons that it will become one of the first companies in the region capable of delivering end-to-end solutions in this sector. eSolutions also claims that the Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) market in the Middle East will be worth US$112m in full year 2008.
