Dimension Data names new Gulf boss

IT services and solutions provider Dimension Data has named Nader Atout as managing director of its Gulf operation. In his new role Atout will oversee the company’s activities in the region and will assume responsibility for developing a roadmap for growth in the region. Read full story

20:20 Mobile bags BT deal

Mobile phones and accessories distributor 20:20 Mobile has won a three year contract with BT Mobile. The deal will see 20:20 supplying mobile devices, accessories and logistics to BT Mobile’s business sales channels. 20:20 claims that the multi-million pound deal is one of the largest contracts in the mobile distribution sector and was targeted by all of the leading distributors. CCS teams up with LetMeRepair

Middle East IT services outfit CCS Jordan has joined forces with repairs specialist LetMeRepair MEA to create a new ICT services company. The new company, LetMeRepair CCS Holding, will launch its first operation in Saudi Arabia offering repair solutions and services to vendors, channel players and large end-users. Read full story

Logicom confirms NewCytech deal

Cyprus-quoted distribution player Logicom has confirmed a deal to acquire NewCytech Business Solutions in a deal worth US$15.6m. The deal was conducted through Logicom Services Holdings – an entity 100% owned by Logicom Public Limited. The deal represents one of Logicom’s first forays into the area of services and IT solutions. Read full story
