Smart Home, Gaming, Mobile Devices & Audio identified as top growth categories by EMEA consumer tech channel

DISTREE Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) has released preliminary findings from its 2018 EMEA Consumer Tech Channel Survey. Smart Home, Gaming & Gaming Accessories, Mobile Devices and Audio (Headphones & Speakers) were identified as the product categories with the most growth potential in EMEA in 2019, according to this year’s survey. CTRONIQ succeeds with Carrefour in Kenya

Consumer technology brand CTRONIQ scored a huge success with retailer Carrefour in Kenya with its recent Black Friday promotion. A strong social media campaign, backed up by aggressive price points, saw hundreds of CTRONIQ LED televisions sold in just a few hours. iBRIT signs Roshan retail deal in Afghanistan

Smart devices brand iBRIT has continued to build up its worldwide channel reach, striking a retail agreement with telecom operator Roshan in Afghanistan. Roshan will sell iBRIT phone handsets through its network of retail outlets across Afghanistan. Roshan is one of the leading telecommunication companies in Afghanistan with 6.5 million active customers, and a network covering more than 287 districts and cities across 34 provinces of the country. DISTREE EMEA drives new distribution deals

DISTREE Events has revealed the findings of its post-event distributor research* for DISTREE Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) 2018, which took place in Monaco in February. Based on this year’s findings, there was an average of 4.02 signed distribution agreements per exhibitor at DISTREE EMEA 2018, with a further 4.27 currently under negotiation for each participating brand.
