TP-Link adds smartphone distributor in Oman

Networking and mobile device vendor TP-Link has appointed Sale International in Oman as a distributor for its Neffos smartphone portfolio. TP-Link claims that the appointment of Sale International will allow it to accelerate its channel development within Oman. Lucas Jiang, general manager, TP-Link Middle East and Africa (MEA), said: “Sale is one of the largest telecoms focused distributors in Oman and the wider Middle East.” Read full story

TP-Link to recruit systems integrators for SMB channel push

Sophos targets Middle East SMB channel

Security solutions provider Sophos has announced a new initiative for small and medium sized businesses (SMB) in the Middle East. The special training and incentive initiative for channel partners is designed to enable them to address SMBs as a focus for their go-to-market activities. Badgy eyes Middle East channel expansion

TechAccess names top partners of 2016

Ingram Micro adds FireEye rights in MEA

Distributor Ingram Micro has signed a distribution deal with FireEye, a provider of cybersecurity and malware protection solutions. With this agreement, Ingram Micro is authorised to distribute all FireEye products and solutions in Gulf countries, plus Egypt, Libya, Lebanon and Jordan. The deal also covers Morocco, Tunisia, Algeria and South Africa. Read full story
