Isemann handed HP Middle East SPO role

HP Middle East has appointed Bernhard Isemann as the company’s new solutions partner organisation (SPO) manager for the region. Isemann replaces Salim Ziade as the Middle East channel boss at HP with immediate effect. Ziade has been names as SPO director for the Middle East, Mediterranean and Africa (MEMA) region.

In his new channel role, Isemann will report to Serdar Urcar, PSG general manager at HP Middle East. Isemann joined HP in February 2007 as enterprise storage and server business lead through the channel in the region for SPO, focusing on building the midmarket and enterprise business in the Middle East.

Since joining HP, Isemann has been responsible for setting up the value add distribution initiative for ISV’s to penetrate landline and mobile operators in the region and the launch of the HP Openforce programme.

Urcar commented: ’Salim’s promotion to MEMA SPO Director is a clear illustration of his achievements, hard work and dedication to the region over the past two years. We are delighted Bernhard will be replacing Salim, he will work to take us to a new level in our demand creation ability through our preferred partners. He will also make sure that we implement the changes to our preferred partner programme that we recently announced to the external world.’

Overall, Isemann has been in the Middle East for five years as country ,anager for Syscom. Isemann has 14 years experience in the IT and telecom industry working as sales manager for Alcatel-Lucent and Sun Microsystems.
