NUU Mobile expands MEA channel reach

Fast-growing smartphone brand NUU Mobile continues to accelerate its channel reach across the Middle East & Africa (MEA) region. Noour Ali, global sales director at NUU Mobile, said: “We have recently signed Al Futtaim as a distributor for the UAE market, One Trading for Egypt and Amtel Limited to cover Kuwait. We have also signed Smart Connections for the growing markets in Tanzania and Kenya.”

NUU Mobile intends to expand its MEA distribution network to cover 15 countries by March 2019 and will also start partnering with telecoms operators in East Africa as part of its expansion strategy.

Ali added: “NUU Mobile is focused on providing affordable and quality products in the region. Our entry level devices start at US$34 with a range of products at prices up to US$180.”

Led by Danny Sit, Director of NUU Mobile, the brand now has offices in the US, UK, Europe, Indonesia, India and China. With its global footprint, NUU Mobile is committed to bringing premium affordable Android smartphones to consumers in the markets it serves.

NUU Mobile’s parent company, Sun Cupid Technology, was established in 1979, giving the organisation almost 40 years of experience in designing and manufacturing consumer electronics products. NUU distributors around the world work closely with retail and e-tail channels, offering training, incentive schemes and promotion management services.

UPDATE 4/12/18: NUU Mobile has also signed channel agreements with Samatel in Syria and P-Mobile in Ghana as it accelerates its reach across the MEA region.


NUU Mobile has confirmed its participation at DISTREE Europe, Middle East & Africa (EMEA) 2019. NUU Mobile will hold pre-scheduled meetings with distributors, retailers and e-tailers from across the region at next year’s event.
